Bible in a year week 8

I'm on a pilgrimage to Israel this week so this is slightly early, but week 8 of the audio Bible in a year as we continue and finish off Leviticus (you'll be glad to hear) and start into Numbers. I know at times it can be hard work but as we talked in the recap, this is God setting out the way the Israelites were to get to know Him, and for us today, how we know the character of God and what He cares about. So as hard as it can seem, it's an important part of getting to know God.

Bible in a year week 7

We continue into week 7 of the audio Bible in a year, finishing off Exodus and reading Numbers and Leviticus. Although these books (especially Leviticus) can seem tedious, they are important in showing us the detail God has for His people, the care He has for them and the way in which He seeks this society to be ordered.

Bible in a year week 5

In this episode of audio Bible in a year week 5, we read through the book of Exodus and see the greatest event in the history of the Jewish people as God frees His people from slavery. This is reflected in the greatest event in the history of mankind as God frees His people from the slavery of sin. This book is pivotal in our own understanding of our story.
