Bible in a year

This week in the audio Bible in a year, we continue through Jeremiah and Ezekiel, seeing his vision of God. There have been a lot of people downloading from all around the world, if that is you, get in touch through the audio Bible in a year facebook page.

In this recap at the end of week 32 we look at some of the books that were included in and throughout the book of Jeremiah. This again is the advantage of the chronological version, we get to read these books within the setting of an overarching book - in this case Jeremiah. 

We continue to read through the Old Testament books seeing how the people of Israel react in light of God's directing. This week we finish the book of Jeremiah and move into another book of the prophets called Ezekiel.

The audio Bible in a year week 31 continues through the book of Jeremiah, putting it into chronological order with the other Old Testament books. We continue to see reform and disaster within the Israelite people.

In this recap at the end of week 30, we look back over the last two weeks and look at the background to the book of Jeremiah and the events that have led to this point. We also think about two verses in Jeremiah which might hold the key to everything!

We continue into week 30 of the audio Bible in a year, reading through 2 Kings and several of the prophets including Zephaniah and Jeremiah

Audio Bible in a year week 29 takes us through more of Isaiah, Kings and Chronicles as we continue to see/hear the story of the these Kings and their people unfolding. You would think they would catch on by now, but it seems they can't!!

We are now into the second half of the Bible and it begins with a Psalm proclaiming 'Sing for joy to God our strength, shout in triumph'. May that be our thought and joy as we head into week 27 and through the book of Isaiah.
