Bible in a year

We recap over weeks 21 & 22 looking at all that Solomon said and did, and today we talk about his wisdom, marriage and also his 700 wives and 300 concubines. 

We continue into week 22 of the audio Bible in a year. In this week we finish the book of Proverbs and through Ecclesiastes before an exciting two days of genealogies. 

We continue through the audio Bible in a year week 21 in Solomon's reign, as he shows his wisdom and the fulfilment of God's promise as people come from far and wide to hear his wisdom. We get an insight as the week continues as we begin the book of Proverbs

In this recap, we look back over weeks 19 & 20 and see the reign of the Kings change. There is so much we could look at, but we focus in on one of the first stories of Solomon's reign involving two prostitutes and a whole lot of wisdom

We continue into the story of King Solomon as he builds the temple. We see an insight into all that went into it's construction as well as Solomon's response, and the Israelites' response to it. We also read part of Solomon's wisdom as we read through Song of Songs, or Song of Solomon as it's sometimes called. 

We continue through the audio Bible in a year as we come to the end of the reign of King David and the beginning of the reign of his son, Solomon.

In this recap we look back over weeks 17 & 18 at the madness that has gone on, and there has been a lot of it! If you enjoy some TV series which have twisted story lines, these last will have been right up your street! Now, if only more people could realise the true-ness to real life of the Bible! 

We continue through the audio Bible in a year into week 18. This week we continue through the life of King David, but we not only observe and hear about it, we also get an insight into his mind through the writing and inclusion of the Psalms throughout each day.

We continue through the audio Bible in a year, continuing the story and 'adventures' of King David.

For less than 10 minutes we look back over the last two weeks, weeks 15 and 16 and see the benefits of using this chronological version of the Bible. We have seen that as we read through the story of David, seeing the events happen and also what he says and writes in the midst of them, shown through the Psalms. We also focus in for a few minutes at the story of David and Goliath, looking at the traditional use of the story and seeing something deeper for each of us in all we face.
